ignition electrical problem
i have an 89 trans am the other day i went to start it and the engine wouldnt crank, so i got it towed to my mechanics the starter was fine the ignition switch and neutral safety switch are fine, he found an old aftermarket anti theft system which we ripped out, now something in the starter circuit is causing the car not to crank everything has power going to it the starter works but its like the anti theft system has shut down my ecm and disabled the ignition system

my mechanic managed to figure it out at the exact same time as me despiite me being at home not at his shop my vats key is fried hes on his way to order me a new one
