okay, i have a 92 rs, 305. all stock. well. theres times my speedometer doesn't work. and times it does. sometimes it'll bounce up, hit the speed i'm and drop. then other times it'll bounce up, go about 20 r 30 mph higher than i'm goin and drop again. it'll keep bouncing for a lil while then work fine for a while. i read it could be the vss. BUT, i also read that if the cruise works, the vss is fine. when the speedo's not working, my cruise will work. but, even when the speedo is working, it struggles to keep one steady speed. i can set it at 61 (according to the speedometer) and it'll drop to 58 or 59 then take off to like 63 then drop to 61. and just keep doing that. you can actually feel the car take off when it does so. ALSO, if i turn the cruise off at the switch, the next time i turn it on and try to set it, it'll take off and then drop. for instance, i can set it at 60, it'll jump to almost 70, then drop down to 60 and just bounce from there. now, normal driving when the speedo is working, the needle will jump between two or three mph on the speedo. any ideas? is my gauge going out and gonna give me reason to buy the intellitronix dash? OKAY! i think the car is purely possessed. lately, i've been driving with abnormally high oil pressure. like the needles on 60. well. other days it'll be at the line before 60 and drop to 30 when i stop. the other day, i was leaving my friends house and my gas tank was full. oddly, bc i took the interstate and sped and got there with 3/4's of a tank. so. this morning. i got in it to leave, and i'm driving a few and realize i need gas. look again and my gas gauge is ALL the way pegged out. not just a lil passed full. but it hit the dash bezel cover thing. couldn't go no more. and maybe 5 minutes later, it went back to normal. and then pegged again, and then went back to normal and stayed like that for the rest of my trip. also, another thing. my car misses REALLY hard randomly. i'm thinking its actually not a miss, bc its not an all the time idling thing. it'll sit for a while and randomly hit a few times every couple of seconds, then stop for a while. then do it again randomly. idk. i think the car's possessed... any help??
