I have an 85 camaro, was originally a berlinetta 305. It now has an aftermarket guage cluster using an autometer 0-90 ohm guage. My old piece of junk fuel sender is broken, where is the cheapest or easiest way of getting this thing to work. How many ohms was my old digital dash fuel guage, and are all thirdgen fuel tanks the same from 82-92. Are all thirdgen fuel senders 0-90 ohm? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks gang

 

stock sender is 0-90 ohm. and yes, the fuel tanks are the same. just go get a new fuel sender from the local auto parts store.

 

they want an insane ammount here, like 400$ for a car i drive on the road 5 times a year... theres no better way??

 

autozone has them for $180. only other option would be a used one.
