MSD Controller does not provide power to the coil

Hello everyone, I'm new on the electrical parts. I recently Bought a GM Heavy Duty box # 10037378 for my 89 Firebird 5.0 TBI, I have read Several diagrams and I installed the box, But when i try to start my car the box does not Provide power to the coil. I searched a lot online but i found little information. It Will Be a bad installation? Or the box is not Compatible with the TBI? or just the box does not work. Please help. Greetings and thanks to all!

Use with GM heavy-duty electronic distributors P/N 10134355, 1005113334, 10037373, and 25500149. Do not use with production HEI system. It is not compatible with the icm.

The install instructions state this will not work with production hei that would include the small cap external coil like you have. if you connected right to the pickup coil it might work but who knows for how long and if it would fry the icm.

If you don't have the appropriate magnetic style pickup coil. I would call and ask Msd how too tell if this box was updated so you test it with a points distributor.
