New alarm, install Q's
So I want to install this basic alarm kit I just bought; it's a Crimstopper SP-101.
Bought it mainly for the remote lock/unlock so the basic alarm is a plus.
I read we have positive type door locks I know that.
My question is, where/what wires am I tapping into exactly for my alarm's brain?
1. Ignition, I can just tap into the wire under my steering column right? Also, is this the same as Ignition Sense? It seems I need to cut between the starter solenoid and ??? and put a Starter Kill Relay.
2. Parking lights, I know where those are wired and the brain can be wired directly to them however I wonder if I can just splice into a connection that'll be closer to the interior/firewall..not sure where that would be.
3. There are +/- door switches. I'm going to take out my door panels but since I've never done so on this car, are the + and - wires there for tapping into them? More specifically, are these the wires for lock/unlock?
I do have the service manual (unorganized on PDF) so that will help with the wiring in the car, I was just unsure about those I asked about above.
I know some of these questions were asked and links were provided (I google+forum searched) but all links were dead.
If it matters, this is in regards to my 1988 Firebird TPI 350. All my other cars have factory alarms except this bird.

Re: New alarm, install Q's
Awesome thanks!
One thing that kind of confuses me or maybe I'm just unsure of;
On the diagram provided, Door lock is Light Blue, Door unlock is Black. These are positive right? Light blue is located at the driver's kick panel, the black one for unlock says 'positive trigger'? What/where is that exactly?
I'll need a relay anyway to connect the brain to these, two of them it looks like with 5 pins (even though 4 are used, labled as 85/87A/86/87/30).
