Transmission: 700 R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 9 bolt

I was doing some rust repair on my 92 rs camaro when a spark from the welder went up under the dash and started a fire on the pass. side. the fire melted some of the main harness which was an easy fix but it melted the Vats/pass key box and the harness to the box. I have the Vats system disabled through my custom tuned chip. can i just cut and tape off the connector to the vats box or do i have to jump some wires?

If the vats was taken out with reprograming in the eprom the passkey module and all the wires related can go.
