Any links to the wiring diagram of the oil pressure sending unit, I have 2 wires to trace, tan/wht and an orange.
Need to hook up without engine harness.

Re: oil sending unit

I got rid of the whole harness, do I need the fuel pump relay for the oil sending unit to work?
Was hoping to work around that with a relay just for the sending unit itself.
Trying to minimize stock harness wiring as much as possible.

Works the other way around from what I've heard. If by chance the fuel pump relay fails, the fuel pump will get power from the oil pressure switch after pressure builds. Will be a long crank before start if ever the relay fails.

Re: oil sending unit

The Holley setup comes with a fuel pump relay, I was hoping to use that instead of the stock relay.
Its only 2 wires to get the oil sending unit working, orange 12v and the tan/wht signal, with a relay it should work, although Im not sure where to connect that tan/wht wire.
I thought it would be a connection under the pass side dash where the engine harness connects.
