rewiring headlights?
i read somewhere on here that you can wire your headlights so that when you have your low beams on, all 4 headlights are on, and when you turn on your brights all four headlights go bright, can someone direct me towards that link or tell me how to do this? thank you

Re: rewiring headlights?
I may be wrong, but that doesn't sound possible with the factory bulbs. I dont think both have a high/low option. If you put in those aftermarket light fixtures that allow you to use more modern bulbs, then I think its possible.

You can, just have to pick up some hi/low beam lights

Re: rewiring headlights?
While you're at it, rewire both the high and low sides of the circuit to relays and make the headlights brighter by running off of the battery directly instead of all that wiring that can go bad between the lights and the switch...

Re: rewiring headlights?
This sounds interesting. Any links to the process or diagrams? My headlights do not work at all, so i was going to rewire and this sounds like a good way to do it.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Re: rewiring headlights?
if all four low beams are on people will assume your brights are on and flash you to dim your lights.

Re: rewiring headlights?
We know it is out there!! I've done several searches and searches and searches, and learned all about Firebird flip up issues. How about some info on the idea of rewiring the headlights. Please! Someone has done this successfully and I would love to see the process. Thanks for all the intelligence you guys provide.
