Weird Firebird headlight motor issue, stays energized
I'm trying to get this squared away before tomorrow, but basically I bought a reman'd headlight motor for my 84 T/A (3-wire connector). I installed it, plugged the connector in, and as soon as I connect the battery, the motor gets energized, opens the headlight, and STAYS energized, and the headlight switch is OFF. It doesn't respond to the headlight switch at all (the light does come on / off though). The other headlight works normal.
I can't tell if the motor unit is the problem, or maybe one of the relays. Any ideas?

Turned out to be a bad Motor, defective right out of the box. I bought it online - a rebuilt A1 Cardone headlight motor. Just a heads up for you all.
