wiring help, need a troubleshooting starting point

I'm looking for a little help with some wiring problems, I'm not sure if anyone would know what's going on, but I really don't even know where to begin trouble shooting. As of now, I have no interior lights, or running lights. Pretty much whatever is supposed to happen with the headlight **** is pulled halfway out, doesn't. I have headlights, brake lights, and blinkers. Is this as simple as a bad ****? How do I replace it? I don't know if it's related, but my blower motor and my wipers don't work either, but my dome and courtesy lights do. Any suggestions for where to start?

Yes, if you are planning to do the diagnosis and repair, then start here:
http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...884&itemtype=N

The 1984 CAMARO Service Manual is available at the link I provided from Helminc.com, or used on eBay. Once you have the manual in hand, start with "Lights Switch Details" on section 8A-12-0. More than likely you need a new headlight switch, not a ****. But if it turns our you need more than a switch the Service Manual will point you in the right direction.

Re: wiring help, need a troubleshooting starting point

Well, right after I started this thread, I found the 500 others on the same topic, so sorry for that. First thing I tried was a new switch, from there it was popping the tail fuse. After reading about that one, I pulled out my CD player and lo and behold I grounded the brown wire. Everything is good now. Except my blinkers are now cycling about every 10 seconds. That's a new one.
