Tricking the hatch Pull down

My hatch pull down went out. It is stuck in the up position. How can I trick the switch, or even by pass it to get my hatch motor to go down? It latches but doesnt wind down.

Also will a hatch pull down assembly from a 94 camaro fit in my 1991?

Re: Tricking the hatch Pull down

you push the hatch down with the lock and use your key as if you were opening it and it will go up,
