Re: help hotwiring my own car

Rough way
A wire from batt through a switch to coil POS+ ( pink ),
A wire from starter ( purple ) through push button to battery

Better way
find those wires at the Ign switch plug at base of steering column and connect the power ( batt) wire that is also there to the switches

If you have a elec fuel pump ( early carb engines have a mech pump on the engine )
you also need the new wire to the coil to run to the pump relay

If you wanted theres a ignition box with a lever going into it, you could remove it from the steering column and use a screw driver to start your car. Ive dont it with mine when i could find the key lol

1st way, use a slap hammer or what you would call a dent puller into your ignition cylinder and pull then use a pliers to start.

2nd way, romove the steering wheel and then remove the cylinder and use pliers to start
