hello I have a 84 trans am and i hooked a set of fog lights for my kitt replica but hooked them into the turn signals for when u put the lights on that would come on but i guess it was to much amp for everything and now i have no lights at all meaning the lights won't flip up, no dome light, dash lights, horn, no trunk popper or radio. I pulled down the fuse box to check it and all the wires r fine and put brand new fuses in it and still nothing. I also changed the headlight switch and still nothing. does anyone know what could be wrong like relays or something like that or has someone had the same problem with no lights or nothing and what u did to fix it

they have headlight relay and horn relay but wanna see if anyone knows what it could be before i spend the money on the stuff

 

All of your symptoms say it's the ACC fuse in the fuse block. Not sure about the headlight motors, but everything else is in the ACC fuse.

 

where is the acc fuse located at? or do u mean the fuse box

 

Yes, in fuse box, I called it a block, because it is. The fuse is labeled ACC for accessory.

 

u mean the little silver ones in the fuse box cuz if so i replaced them also or is is something else

 

No, it's a yellow 20 amp fuse, it may be labeled CTSY. In my car it sits right next to the metallic circuit breakers. If not the fuse, then check up the line to your fusible links (makes more sense because your light motors don't work either), there are about 3 at the starter, and a couple more on a distribution block on the passenger side radiator core support - will more than likely be at the starter.

yes i did i took it to B&W Electric and it was 3 fusible links from the starter so that should be ur problem but Al I thank you also cuz u were spot on about the wire to the starter being bad
