AC doesn't engage
When I switch to any vent position they switch and the air will change if I move it from cool to warm but the ac clutch wount engage. The clutch will engage if I jump it using the battery. I was thinking it was the switch in the control unit. Any Idea?

To find out if the switch is the problem use a piece of wire to jump it for a few seconds.
However if the compressor does not turn on
use a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe the light green wire on the pressure cycling switch located on the accumulator (the silver can on the firewall).
Is there power there when the key is in the RUN position and the AC controls are set to AC?
