Security light NEVER comes on. Dead VATS?

Well here's another infamous no crank/no start issue. I've made myself crazy reading and reading all these VATS threads but can't seem to find a solution. After starting just fine I went to leave the store and nothing. All accessories (lights, radio) work and fuel pump primes, but the car wont crank. Starter/solenoid are verified good. Key tumbler is under a year old. Jumped neutral safety switch with no luck. Battery is good. The security is supposed to come on upon turning of the key, BUT IT NEVER DOES. The bulb is verified as good. Could this be a failed VATS module? Checked power at relay on drivers kick panel and found no voltage, but I could have measured incorrectly. Havent checked DTC's. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That’s a major factor.

Once you find out if you have power or not

(probe the
yellow wires) when trying to crank repost for diagnosis.
