Fast battery drain. ongoing problem for 5 months

Still haven't figured it out. Everywhere I go I take off the negative battery cable so my battery won't drain. If I let it sit for even more then a hour my battery will completely drain and it will hurt the battery so bad to where it won't even jumpstart.

Today I took a test light from the negative terminal to the chassis of the vehicle and the light came on. Then I started pulling fuses one by one. After pulling all of the fuses the light stayed on.

So I have no idea what could be causing this battery drain.

I have a 85 Camaro z-28. 350 tpi. Electronic Fuel Injection.

You are still having a problem? I thought you might have got it fixed. Do you have an amp gauge? if so let me know I have had one short out and cause a problem like this.

It does. The only thing I can think of doing now is trying to unplug the starter.

Sounds like your POS is going to ground, Check your POS cable from battery to the starter.
