For some reason my windows wont go down, iv tried several switches and still no luck. Any ideas?

 

Did you check for power at the switch? check the fuse? Did they both quit working at the same time?

 

Yes checked fuses, theyre good. I had a chance to swap out the window switches with olds ones that i know work, and still no luck. I havent had time to look much more into it but i figured id ask for any suggestions on what to do. Also yes they both just stopped working.

P.s. The car is a 87 Gta

 

Did you check for power at the switches? Possibly a bad ground.

 

I will be tonight i took the door panel off before i left for work. Looks like someone converted the thing to power windows. So god only knows. Iv had it for two yrs with no problem though.

 

I did notice when trying with the driver side switch it would act as if it was getting power but the window was "stuck". I havnt been able to do much else due to work
