Speedometer stopped working when replacing Gauge plates

I have a 1991 Z28 350 Tpi 25th anniversary. I took the gauges Out to change them to an aftermarket white background. I had to take the arrows out to change them. Once done I put the arrows back in and all of them work accept the Speedometer arrow, it just stays at 0 mph. They all worked until the change now the speedometer arrow wont move. The tech meter works perfectly along with the rest. Did I brake the thing What can I do to fix it? I can use the tech meter to drive safe for now. Please help.

Re: Speedometer stopped working when replacing Gauge plates

I figured it out I could have sworn that reving the car would have made it move but I had to put the car in motion. What in idiot. lol. I do have another problem though. Now that the new gauge plates are on, it seems as though the MPH are off like 10 mph or so.

For example where 65 mph use to be I realized on the highway its 50 mph. Is this normal? Please advize are the new ones more accurate then the old ones? Thanks.
