Check Engine Light (Code 22) help!

Today I noticed my check engine light come on, it's never came on before and now when I noticed that it starts up a lot faster when turning the ignition but idles high (1500rpm) when it usually idles around 800. I had my battery cables disconnected for no more than 10 minutes yesterday due to smoke coming out of the battery positive terminal when trying to crank the engine.I think this was because I had an amp power cable connected to it that was sucking up all the power and melting the rubber around the battery cable. I took that out and the car seems to start up without a lot more effort. I ran an ecm and it pulled up a code 22. Do you think the IAC and tps just needs resetting again by disconnecting the battery and driving it around? and would that solve the check engine light problem? Thanks
