I get no sound output from my right side speakers, can turn the balance all the way to the right, nothing. Is the original radio toast, bad connections or amp? Any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting welcome.

To find out swap the left and right speaker wire at the radio.
If it’s now the left with problem, the wiring from the radio to the right side speakers has a break or short in the wiring.
You then will have to visually trace the wiring to find the break or insulation rub-thru.
