Hatch motor wire colours
Hi guys,
i repaired my hatch motor a few months ago and its been working great but today i opened the trunk and it raised up fine, but when i went to close it again its stuck up and i could hear a faint clicking or popping from the motor, i touched the motor and it was red hot ! so in a panic i pulled out the connector from the reversing switch.
however i think i pulled it a bit too hard as all the wires came out of the white plug instead, and now im not sure which order they go back in, i wanted to let the motor cool down and then try it again even if its just to get it to go back down and then unplug it so i can close the trunk properly.
heres a picture of mine facing the motor from inside the car, i just stuck the wires back in which way i thought looked right but obviously they might all be wrong so the main power cable with the white plug is unplugged too until i know which way these wires should go

so i just need to know what is the correct order from left to right if possible, thanks.

Re: Hatch motor wire colours
awesome, thanks Lon, i plugged everything back in and the motor pulled the hatch down no problem !
although im not convinced so i climbed in the trunk with it closed and unplugged it, the motor must be on its way out if it keeps failing and getting red hot ?
