suddenly wont start
all the sudden my car just wont start. in fact im getting no electric anywhere; my headlights wont turn on and not even a chime when i put the key in the car. it started out with only a weak chime but then if i was to try to turn the car on nothing would happen and the chime would go off. even if i turn my headlights on or hit the break ( turning on my break lights) the chime would shut off and not come on. i checked the battery and its fine. first i had trouble starting the car when it was working fine but that was just the neutral safety switch in the wrong position.(its a t5 swap the NSS is just laying loose) i overridden that thinking that was the problem and it didn't change anything. any idea on where to start looking.
oh and all battery connections and wires are fine just no power anywhere

Re: suddenly wont start
If it was me I would start cleaning connections, that would include all positive and negative[grounds] that I could find. The ground from the battery to the chassis is a good place to start. The engine ground to fire wall and so on. You would take these apart and sand and clean and maybe a new bolt. Keep us updated.

Re: suddenly wont start
I'd check the fuseable link coming off the starter. One of the smaller wires, s hould be 14 gauge or so I think. Mine was pink/beige (old color on mine so it kind of looks like both). If that sucker goes, you lose everything. Happened to me while driving to work one day and I was like "WTF!?" haha Just make sure you swap it with an actual new fuseable link. I didn't just to get the car running again, but it's dangerous not to have it so I need to get it replaced. They're there for a reason.
