Fuel Pump Harness Wiring
1989 Camaro 350 TPI engine going in a 1936 Plymouth is the project. All is wired except for a few things. Trying to figure out the fuel pump harness. There are 3 wires that come out of the fuel pump harness. Gray, Black & Purple. The gray is for the fuel pump motor. What are the black and purple wires for. Would like to know which one is for the sending unit and what is the other wire for. Found the wire schematic on Austinthirdgen but his diagram says the sending unit uses a pink wire.

Purple is for the sending unit (0-90 ohm).
Black is ground.
Chevy used pink or purple wire, whatever they found on the shelf.
Please don't be surprised by that.
Btw, we are guys, we can just say: "purple is darker pink, right?"
