Interior lights power mirrors not working. Fuse maybe?
So I have an 89 Camaro I recently tried to install a new dome light which is an LED one. The person I bought it from a couple weeks ago didnt have the headliner installed and there is no cover for the light so it fell out. When I tried to put it back in I think something shorted because the power mirrors cigarette lighter and all interior lighting stopped working. I read some posts saying it could be the ACC fuse which my fuse box lacks having one in it but how would that fix anything if there was never a fuse in it to begin with?

Check your fuses, you should need an acc fuse. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...-accurate.html

I have those same problems. But when I tried to put new ACC fuse it burns with sparks right away. I think the problems is in groundings somewhere around the car.

Some times the biggest problem is the cigar lighter, it grounds out on the housing and blows fuses.

Merethri, I would look in the cigarette lighter first. It is historically and statistically the #1 reason for the ACC fuse blowing. Often people find paper-clips or coins in the cigarette lighter which cause a short in the circuit.
If that is not your problem, you can check all the devices on the ACC circuit (diagram here) and try to find the one that is causing your short.
Hope this helps.
