cluster problems.....

Hey guys I've been trying to bring my IROC Z28 back to life and I am running into some issues to say the least. I was having problems with some of the gauges being pinned ie oil pressure and fuel gauge. I ran across another 145 mph cluster and picked it up and it did the same thing I was able to return the cluster and after I reinstalled my original the right turn signal dosent light in car and the right front blinker stopped working the back works fine. When i turn it on it clicks and the battery voltage gauge stutters with the click . Has anyone else had this trouble and if so how did you repair it...

Re: cluster problems.....

The copper connection to the gauge cluster can get corroded and need shinning up, Also check the dash grounds for a good contact. As for your blinker, check the bulb in the right front. When you have the gauge cluster out, you should check the printed circuit for any cracks or breaks. You can shine up the break and put a drop of solder on it for a repair.
