Sporadic starting, my journey through no start hell.

Think I finally have this problem licked. I replaced the starter, park/neutral safety switch, and the start enable relay, in that order. This process has been going on for several months, with various periods of time where work pulled me away from the project.

Symptoms were occasionally not starting. Battery appeared to have power but the starter would not turn over. This is what led me to replace the starter. I think my diagnosis was wrong on the starter though. The problem came back a couple days after replacing it.

I then decided to replace the p/n safety switch. Again, I now believe that was a faulty diagnosis on my part. Worked for a day, then problem came back.

I next replaced the start enable relay. This I know for sure was bad, I spent a good amount of time testing it. Car started great for like 5 starts, then wouldn't turnover at all.

I decided to go back to square one, and check the starter and battery. At this point the car had been sitting for a few months. Anyway, when I checked the starter, I found a loose (purple) wire. Tightened it up, and now I think I have the problem licked. Guess I didn't get it tight enough before. Here is hoping that I have it fixed right this time.
