Tool to remove wire harness retention clips?

Is there a tool to remove the retention clips that push into the holes drilled in the body?

I am trying to finish removing my wire harness to get moving along on my restoration, but there a few clips that I can't get pulled (like the one in the door that the power locks/windows wires are taped to).

Thanks.

I don't know of any special tool to accomplish that. I've used either needle-nosed pliers or if I can easily get to the back side of that clip, a small socket. Just push the socket over the pin and tabs and you can usually just pull the clip off the panel. For those with less access, I have a pair of needle-nosed pliers that the tips are bent (by design, not modified by me) 90-deg. Those usually do a decent job.

Ok. I was thinking for some reason that there was a tool to pull those with.

I can't get in with a pair of pliers on some of the clips (they need to be accessed from the side with the wire), but the socket idea on the ones that I can get to the back side is genius.

Never would have thought of that one.

Thanks.
