Should fuel injector plug's have 12v's on both pins?

So im getting 12v's with the key in the on position from both the pink/black wire (normal) but im getting 12v's to the ecm wire too. just with the key in and on position.

Did i miss wire my harness during my swap?

Motor: 91 camaro 305 tpi w/harness
Van: 88 g20 w/ original fuse block and bulkhead. it HAD a 305 TBI w/ 2 injectors before.

I read that my stock fuel pump should be good to go as far as psi goes sense it usta operate the 2 injectors in the old motor. high pressure lines. Im going to do a fuel pressure test tomorrow.

Any thoughts??
Thanks

You will have power in the acc and run position to the injector banks the ecm grounds the injectors to pulse them after the ecm gets drp.

Ok, so its normal to have 12v's in both pins. i thought that the ecm would tell it when to pulse by sending a signal to the blue and green(?) wires.

Since its a system operated by grounding through the ecm, then would the signal wire get grounded when its time to inject?

What should i look for when testing my injectors? ohms, certain voltages, crank test and voltage??

Thanks

The pink on bank 1,3,5,7 is the positive feed
The pink/ blk on bank 2,4,6,8 is the positive

With any of the injectors hooked up you will get the power going back to the ecm through the injector coils on bank 1 its drk blue on bank 2 its drk green.

Your injectors should be tested hot but since you can't do that the should be ohming out around 16- 17 ohms but they all should be within .5 of each other. You can check injector pulse with a noid light. if your not getting pulse this could be a issue with the vats hz module you installed or no drp to the ecm.

ok, when im checking ohms, thats on the injectors themselves? and if theyre off, then the injectors are bad?

that is checking the injectors with the harness disconnected from the injectors.

ok, injectors are in spec. the fuel pressure on the other hand is NOT. gotta upgrade that pump. I thought a tbi pump would work, getting a newish one from the yard for 35$ if its as new as they say.

so im dropping the tank and gonna put the new pump in and hopefully with the correct pressure, she'll fire right up. then i can tweak the timing.

wish me luck
peace

you might want to spend more and get a acdelco ep241 instead of a used pump.
