Car: 74 Nova prostreet 87 Iroc Z28
Engine: 427 671 blower 350 Built
Transmission: 700R4 both
Axle/Gears: Dana 60 an a 323 posi.
Fan Relay

I have a after market fan an a Big End Performance relay 40 amp. Can someone please tell me how it hooks to the relay 87 iroc no computer I want it to turn on once I turn the key motor doesnt have to run. Any diagrams would be very helpfull. Thank yous!

you should run a fan controller running the fans will keep the engine cool all the time and its hard on the fan with that much running and at higher speeds un needed wind drag while running shortens the fans life. a relay coil is grounded and is switched on the coil side with a low amp so the high side will be attached to a good fused hot source and the other lead of the relay will go to the the fan.

here for example is a bosch relay.

87 = 30 amp pwr out, when relay energized

87a = 30 amp pwr out when relay NOT energized note: 87a almost always UNUSED
