2.8v6 hard to start when cold but runs fine after warm
I have a 86 Camaro with a 2.8 V-6. I had problems with overheating. I added a aftermarket fan controller. I removed the small sending unit from the intake to install the fan controller sensor. I also installed a mechanical temp gauge. I removed the sending unit from the front of the head behind the AC compressor. When I first start it it want stay running without patting the gas pedal. IF I try to drive before it warms up I hear popping under the hood. After it warms up it runs fine. I have seen some things about the cold start system. I don't know much about this system. Can anyone help with this problem? PLEASE
