Power Options??
I was wondering if vehicles not equipped with certain options had any wiring in place for them. For example: power seats, mirrors, fog lights, etc. My RS did not come with any of the above, but I would REALLY like to add some creature comforts (and was hoping it would be easier to do if at least some of the wiring was already in the car). Any info on this?

Re: Power Options??
I have added power mirrors to my 84 TA and none of the wires for them were in my car, i pulled them out of an 82 that had only the mirrors but not power locks or windows so the wiring was stand alone. It was very simple to install but time consuming.
This is a link to a video i made when i installed them in my car, so you can see what is involved in this addition. the only thing that should be different is that the camaro had the switch in the door panel instead of the console.
its the same thing for power seats i pulled the driver power track and wire harness at a junk yard, the wires go through the carpet under the seat, the ground connects right there and the power clips to a accessory block on the LH kick panel. It's a super simple install.
I also pulled a power antenna and the only hard part was getting the rest of the wires and relay out from under the dash
so my 84 had none of the wires for these options ready to go, it did have them for small things like the console light or the interior cargo area light
