Engine: 305 tpi
Transmission: 95 T56
Axle/Gears: stock 10 built, yukon diff, 4.10
need wiper motor help
my problem is when you turn the wipers on, they dont go into delay, just low or high, and they wont shut off unless i shut the car off. when i shut the car off, and turn car back on and as long the wiper switch is off, the wipers will reset themselves and stay off until you switch them on. any ideas?

When you turn switches that run thru a relay, and the wrong message is relayed, I'd be looking at the relay.

looking at the wiring diagram, i dont see a relay.

Disconnect the wiper motor module connectors C1 & C2.
Have the wiper switch in the OFF position.
Have the key in the ACC position.
Measure voltage on C2a.
Measure voltage on C1b.
They need to be zero.
If you have voltage there the switch is bad, or a wire is shorted to a voltage source.

How Come Some Drivers On The Street Don’t Know How To Make A Turn In One Direction Without Starting By Turning In The Opposite Direction?
Have the wiper switch in the OFF position.
Have the key in the ACC position.
Measure voltage on C2a.
Measure voltage on C1b.
They need to be zero.
If you have voltage there the switch is bad, or a wire is shorted to a voltage source.
