wiper motor delay
wiper motor delay
Picked up an 86 t/a and the previous owner tried to change the windshield squirter and managed to break the inside of the casing that has the arm which Im assuming controls the wiper delay?
Right now they come up maybe an inch and them just go back down, repeatedly.
Is there a way to just wire them direct, even solder on the board? Ive heard of lots only working on fast. Would just be temporary until I can source another one....but having only one speed of wiper is better then none.

Re: wiper motor delay
not sure but maybe try and see if you can pick up a new arm from Rockauto.com.
They really do have great prices as I just bought a new AC condenser for $150 and O'Rielly wanted $225. I'm thinking if you can find a new arm it would be easier in the long run.
Good luck, sorry I couldn't give you a short term solution,
Roy
