Security light comes on but car runs fine?
I have noticed 1/2 the time my security light will come on and stay on but car runs fine? Maybe a false signal? Should I just ignore it till I redo the gauges?

The 18 AWG gray wire coming out of the dash connector might be shorting to ground.
Physically inspect it.
If the wiring is OK the problem is in the Pass Decoder Module.
With the car OFF, unplug the 2 pin connector near the steering column which contains a White wire with a black stripe, and a purple wire with a White stripe.
Then, turn the key to RUN and measure the voltage between the White wire with a black stripe and ground.
There is supposed to be 5 volts there.
If there is, measure the voltage between the two wires on the 2 pin connector pigtail.
There is supposed to be 5 volts there also.
Was there approximately 5 volts on both those locations?
