Horn switch Slip Ring Plastic Wiring Connector

So after trying to diagnose the malfunctioning horn I finally made it work but I realized that the plastic piece inside the steering wheel that connects the red wires from the switch to the slip ring is broken and I can't put the red wires back in.

I was wondering if it was possible to buy it and if so what do I need to get for that or ask for?

I will post pictures in a minute as I am using my phone right now.

Thanks

Re: Horn switch Slip Ring Plastic Wiring Connector

Disregard my last, I ended up "building" a new switch and the plastic connector that pushes the spring on to the slip ring and horn works better then it has since I got it.

Just glad to get the safety done so I can swap out the 305 TBI for the 5.3.

Thanks for anyone that had a look at the post but I guess too many coffees and being stubborn means you will find a way to make it work.

How did you end up fixing the problem? I have the same issues with my 1990 RS.

Re: Horn switch Slip Ring Plastic Wiring Connector

Sorry man I have been busy trying to finish my LSX swap but I'll post some pictures and an explanation of what I had to do tonight.

Sorry for delayed response.
