fuel pump wiring

Transmission: T56

Axle/Gears: 3.75 LS

fuel pump wiring

My 87 IROC fuel pump stopped working yesterday. So right now I am trying to determine if it is fuse/wiring or FP broke. There are (3) wires going through the wall between the two rear seats to the tank that provide power to the fuel pump and fuel gage.

Can someone tell me what the (3) wires provide power to? I am at work right now and cannot take a picture, but I believe the three wires are:
Black
Tan/White
Pink

I would like to provide 12v power to the correct one to see if the FP works.

Fuel 4 Thot

The gray wire is power to the pump, black wire is ground, purple wire is for the gage.
