Car: 1983 Daytona 500 Edition Trans Am
Engine: Carb 305
Transmission: NWC T5
please help me identify this connector

Its a small box under the passenger side of the dash. The car is an 83 Trans am Daytona. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

has something to do with the check engine light. I pretty sure it is there to turn on the check engine light every 50k miles for cat converter inspection or something like that.

My car is carbed. I though it might be the vss buffer box. The car had cruise control. I'm just not sure if this car has a vss.

Ok i found this picture of the 83 VSS. I'm doing a tpi swap and need a 2k vss signal for the computer. Does anyone know the pinout or which wire i need to tap to get that 2k pulse signal?

You can't use that vss with TPI, buy a inline speedo cable VSS
