proper Coil Location?

I am upgrading my sons 85 Trans am TPI distributor to a small cap 1992 style with external coil. I was hoping you could tell me where the best place to mount the coil is. Its Pretty tight in that engine compartment, Im used to my 69 camaro with lots of room.. a pic would be great as well. Thanks

Re: proper Coil Location?

The tpi remote coil was mounted on a bracket on the right rear two intake bolts. There are 2 brackets that capture the coil.
