Remove '92 Camaro clutch neutral start switch
Remove '92 Camaro clutch neutral start switch
Attempting to test and service my non-starting '92 Camaro RS neutral start switch is found on section of the clutch-brake pedal assembly with two nuts, one on each side. After these nuts are removed the switch remains in place after trying to pry it loose. Need to know if anybody has experience removing the neutral start switch (if it is pressed/bolted on). With switch out it looks to be easier to check voltage on the green and purple wires, test switch open-close function and make possible jumper on wires. Also, want to avoid having to remove entire pedal assembly.

Um, there shouldn't be any hardware holding it on... The switch has tabs that slot into keyholes in the pedal bracket from 88 to later. Push it towards the passenger's side and it should eventually pop out. Just don't do what I did and use pliers on it or it will get crushed
