how difficult are msd ignition to install

I have a carb on 355 SBC with around 400 horsepower. The car is a 86 IrocZ and I need more fire. I'm wanting a standard 6a msd system. Nothing too hi tech. I've never installed one I'm just wondering about the level of difficulty from 1-10. Does it consist of getting power to msd and to coil or is it more to it? Will I notice a cleaner burn and more power?

The hardest part of installing one of them is finding what spot looks the best. It is probably one of the easiest installs you'll ever do.

basically, you run switched power wire, ground and line from distributor and line to coil. Like said above, mounting and making it neat is hardest part usually.
