You won't
You have to solder individual resistors together to get the required value.
# 13 key you have will work with 7200 - 7820 ohm resistance so you should be able to get and use a single 7500 ohm resistor

Check your resistance again. If it is 7500 ohms, get a 7.5k ohm resistor. Radio Shack should have them.

If RadioShaft doesn't have a specific resistor value (they don't carry a lot of values), you can always pay a lot of money for an online order through suppliers like Jameco, Digikey or Mouser. Let me check my box of resistors, maybe you get lucky and I have one in the range.

Over Complicating
As Bobby Hill said, it’s undoubtedly 7500 Ω.
Remember, resistors have tolerances, for example, a resistor labeled 7500 Ω, with a 5% tolerance, is allowed to be as high as 7875 Ω and as low as 7125 Ω.
Multimeters are not perfectly accurate.
If a multimeter has an accuracy of 1%, a perfectly made 7500 Ω resistor might read as high as 7575 Ω, or as low as 7425 Ω.

That’s why economy ANALOGUE meters are the fast way around the track.
Consumers get a hold of digital meters, the meter shows the device under test to be “off” an insignificant fraction of a fraction, and the consumer thinks there is something wrong.

DancesWithDeath, I found the right resistor. I just need your mailing address. PM me if still interested.
