starter solenoid wiring help

Hi I've searched everywhere for how the starter hooks up. I have 3 main big wires hooked up to the big bolt in the the center and tge chubby purole wire on the S on roght side by tge block and a chubby red on the R side all the way to the left. Is this right or ?

i just changed my starter.it little wire goes to the terminal thats out of sight next to the block.

Yeah that's where I put the purple one. I have another red small one. Does it go on the small outside post? Does anything go on that one?

If the red wire has a small terminal then that is the correct position
FWIW ;
R means resistor , a wire to the coil

Sorry ita an 90 camaro rs 5.0 just did 350 tbi swap. Any pics of your starter wires you could snap for me plz?

Also I have the security dash light flashing do I need a different chip I used one from a 90 1500 pickup
