Digital Gauges Speedo Sending Unit
I just grabbed up a set of Intellitronix digital gauges for a good price. The seller says he is including the speedo sending unit and since mine is an 85 I was wondering does this screw in directly at the transmission?
I am actually hoping so because the cable in mine bounces the needle and I would just rip it out of the car vs having to replace it.

You won’t know if he sent the correct one until you get it.
If it fits then you can verify the accuracy VIA GPS.
