turn signal help.

when i use my right turn signal it blinks two times on the outside and that's all. but the signal light above my gauges never shuts off. doesn't blink just stays on. any advice would be appreciated. thanks:help :

Turn Of Events

First check all right side bulbs, to make sure they are the correct type, and installed correctly.

A common mistake is people installing 2 filament bulbs 180° rotated.

Some crazy symptoms have been reported doing that.

Now once you know all the bulbs are OK,
use a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) key in the RUN position, turn stalk in the right position, probe the dark blue wire out of the column.

Is there power there?

If no, you need to get to the switch, probe it at the switch and if still no power replace the switch.
