Burned harness

Ok, so I'm buying a 92 Formula 5.0 that the main harness caught fire at the fire wall. I'm buying minus engine and trans. My question is, I have been looking at Painless performance universal hot rod harnesses for GM keyed vehicles, how many circuits would I need to make all the lights, Flip ups, guages and HVAC work. I could care less about the radio as long as the lights and guages work and the HVAC would be a bonus since it would be a summer car primarily. As far as the engine goes I'm gonna be building a 383 carb'd and putting a 5 or 6 speed stick in it so no ecu needed.

Re: Burned harness

Why not just contact painless and tell them the car and what you want to be using and see what they say. There is also nothing wrong with using the stock harness if you can get one for the car as well. Tons of TGO members could help you out with a stock harness if you went that route
