charging issue
problem; the voltmeter drops to about 8 volts at an idle, in gear.
alternator tested good at the parts store.
battery failed. its only 7 months old, but was under warranty, luckily.
starter is about 2 years old. no starting issues unless the batt is dead.
once in a while i come outside to start it, and the batt is dead. longest times between starts is 3 days, tops.
at 1,000RPM it says 13-14 volts. if i turn my e-fans on, it drops to approx 8 volts.
ive taken every wire off, +, -, alt, MSD wires, body grounds, braided ground, etc, and cleaned and re-installed with die-lectric grease.
still have the same issue.
any idears?
