Front passenger side wiring?
So ive had a reoccurring issue of the wiring for my fuel pump shorting out on something. Ive traced it back to somewhere in the front end passenger side next to the battery. it has to do with one of the wires that run into the fuse, as when i would shift around those wires, it would run the pump upon the key turning. What all is up front that the other wires belong to? I know theres the radiator fan, but what else? im confused as to where the short could be as ive spent days fiddling around with it, and when it works/ stops working, I cant pinpoint why. Any advice/ideas?

If you fill out your profile, you might get some responses. Even some good ones.
Help us help you and fill in at least your vehicle information so that we know what car we're talking about.
I am guessing here (since I don't know what engine you have) but from your description it sounds like you have a problem with the ECM/FP fuse. It powers the ECM memory and the fuel pump. If wiggling the wires helps turn on the fuel pump, it would point to a loose connection somewhere. Keep wiggling different parts of the harness (while holding other parts static) until you get to the place of breakage (or bad connection). Our cars are very old nowadays and the wire insulation and wires do not last forever.
Let us know what you find.
