Digital Climate Control Issue.

Hey guys, I have an 87 GTA with digital dash. It is having several issues with the climate control. For one, the blower motor is never OFF. I have already bought and installed a replacement for it. When the key isn't in the ignition it's off. When the car is on I turn the speed all the way down and push the off button but it still runs. Now that wouldn't be a problem if the heater core would ever turn off! For some reason the heater core remains on constantly as well. I've tried every combination of buttons and levers but I got nothin'. If anyone has any ideas they're greatly appreciated.

Re: Digital Climate Control Issue.

Sounds like shorted contacts, fried Climate control unit, or ECM issue. Disconnect things until problem stops.

1] Check for shorts; crossed wires, bare insulation, etc...
2] Disconnect Climate Module
3] Check Error Codes on ECM
4] Check ECM & PromPak

Check all connections 1st, If it is the Climate Module or ECM, I have them both from my 88 GTA parts car, I might sell if needed, just PM me.
