Ok, Im thinking about putting some after market fog lights on my 83 Z28. Its got the original nose and what not and obviously these didnt come with fog lights. I really dont want to wire in a dash switch to control them, so I had an idea. Is it possible to tap off the brown wire going to each parking light? If Im reading my wire diagram correctly, this brown wire feeds 12v to the parking lights when the main switch is on, but has nothing to do with the blinking circuit. Seems like I could tap off that so the fogs come on with the switch, but wont blink with the blinkers.

Does this even make sense? Could it overload that circuit?
