Not to many Headers are CARB certified. I have the EdelBrock headers and they were a pain to fit. If you have A/C you defiantly will want to use a Heat shield on the A/C housing where the headers fit to passenger side. Also if you have stock heads with strait spark plugs be ready to do some yoga to change them.

Being from California, you need CARB approved headers. There are only three that I know of...

Edelbrock TES, Hooker 2055 and I think Dyno Don's. Of these, the Hooker and Dyno Don's are the best.

For plugs, accel makes a set of "shorty plugs" that are 1/4 of an inch shorter than standard plugs but the p/n escapes me at the moment. I run the Hooker 2055's and got a set of heads with angle plug ports on them which help a little with the plugs. Basically I don't have to disconnect my headers to put the plugs in and out of the car if I need to.

I agree, The shorty plugs are the only thing that helps but if you have angle plug heads that is the ticket! also be sure to use shields for your wires or they will cook at the headers. you may also want to look into a shield for your starter or a mini starter. I went through two starters before I bought a mini starter.

Oh yeah, forgot about the wire shields, melted plug wires suck. You'll need a heat shield for the starter, just the wrap stuff is what I use.
